Me Against The WorldHere I Stand  before everything and everyone  
ready for their judging eyes and cruel hearts  to cast me aside and put a label on my face   
Here I Try  try to make something of myself  
before that harsh world  knowing that what i can and cant do  is what seems to matter  and not what is in my heart   
Here I see  there seems to be no value  of pure and true love or  noble and virtuous honor  but i dont need eyes to see this  instead, only a heart to feel and

In Search Of MyselfI walk....   alone   
I walk alone  
across a starlit path  filled with wonder and light,  mystery and amazement   
As I stare into that countless sky,  
filled with the multitudes upon multitudes  of heavenly beauty,  i stop and think,  trying to fathom how such beauty remains where it is  and how much of a shame it is  
that i cant share this moment with no other nearby.   
But it is late as it is, and surely noone would want to walk this path  or would they rather not walk it with me

MemoryIts strange,  thinking about times past  times present  and times that are to come.  Thinking  Thinking about thinking  and even worse, thinking about all the above  to the point where it gets so confusing and so...  pointless.   
is it odd to believe in things you cant see?  is it strange to reach out to things you cant touch?  is it sad to miss people you wont ever get to hear?   
maybe the memory of what we have experienced is what keeps us going  keeps us strong  keeps us living

welcome back to myself

well it has been a while since i last was here
i guess i missed it a bit
who knows
well....now im in college as a voice major and well, things are odd

today we sang for this 250th anniversary of winston salem/ forsyth county and it was kinda dumb

the only highlight of my day was getting to watch all these high school marching bands march by. it was very cool seeing them all....brought back a lot of memories of the good ole days...the days which i realllllly miss....

sigh

oh well

i guess ill try to write some more poetry/songs and keep up with this thingy
